Bioshock 2 - Johnny Topside? by SilentGuitarist Bioshock 2 - Johnny Topside? by SilentGuitarist
This is just one of my own little ideas of what "Johnny Topside" could have looked like on his arrival to Rapture.

I decided that since he was a deep sea diver that went about looking for sunken ships and stuff before hand that maybe he was a younger fellow, like 25-28, since they don't really tell you how old he was.
Anyway, I thought it would also make everything else that would happen to him in the years to follow be that more dramatic? I don't know. >_>
I don't remember if they ever say how long he was in prison and all that.

And yes, he does totally look like the Rocketeer. I kinda, sorta did that on purpose... I mean, I didn't mean for him to, it just kinda happened... ^^; I was really just trying to come up with something opposite of Jack.

Oh and just ignore the failed attempt at a background... >_>

Why would he look human under the helmet? According to all my research on Big Daddies, the bodies are grafted into the suits. The men would be disfigured. Their bodies enlarged and pumped with whatever for strength and mobility in the suit. Hardly a brain to really think with. And all the organs would be spread out and expanded. Anyway, the suits were made big. And the humans grafted into them are not as big so they must be enlargened.

But none-the-less, good work.

This is suppose to be Johnny before he was made a Big Daddy. The suit he's wearing is the diving suit he would have worn when he discovered Rapture. :)

Ah ok, that clears it up then. And I apologize, cause I was somewhat wrong with what I said. The newer Big Daddies had the humans' bodies grafted into the armor. The new BDs consisting of Bouncers, Rumblers, and Rosies. But the prototype Alphas' human bodies ramained somewhat unharmed. Which is why Johnny could remove his helmet at the beginning of the game. And I know I'm getting really descriptive with this, but I'm just rather passionate with Bioshock. I love that game.

Hehe, it's okay, it happens. :)
And don't worry, I'm pretty passionate about BioShock too. <3

And yeah, I can't imagine all that ADAM and gene splicing not leaving its mark on the subject.
I'm still curious as to what exactly they look like under all that but it's probably for the best it remains a mystery. >_>

Well the Alpha Series subjects should look relatively normal. But the Big Daddies, Rosies, and Rumbler subjects' skin was romoved and all that fun stuff. So they probably don't look too appealing.

I've always been curious as to just what Big Daddies' faces looked like underneath their helmets. Facial hair overgrown, maybe? Their skin couldn't have been grafted into the helmets.
